Kitchen Knife (Caskets)[]

Alex Knife 2

In Caskets, Alex can find a knife in the main deck's kitchen. Julia acts dismayed towards him for holding it, but Alex suggests they might need it later. If Conrad is present, he will also support taking it in order to attack to the pirates. Alex has the option of either holding it, leaving it, or giving it to Conrad. If they have it, Alex or Conrad will take the knife out and hold it up when Julia shrieks about there being something in the mess hall with them.

If Conrad is given the knife, in Glamor Girl, he can confront the Sailor Girl with the knife if he fails Keep Calm segment. Confronting the threat (which can be either Fliss or Brad) gives him the prompt to slash her throat, killing Fliss or Brad in the process. In Curator's Cut or Shared Story, the protagonist hallucinated as the Sailor Girl can dodge the attacks.

If Alex keeps the knife, he will keep it unused in his pocket until Plunged, where it will fall out of his pocket and onto the small unsubmerged walkway where he and Julia swim to. Olson will then pick it up and chase Alex and Julia through the ship up to the main deck. If they aren't fast enough, Olson will use the knife to kill one of them, slashing Alex's throat or stabbing Julia in the back.

Cargo Hold 3 Knife[]

During Danny, Fliss can pick up a knife found on the ground next to one of the corpses littering Cargo Hold 3. She will put it through her belt loop for later use. Later on in Ritual, if Fliss doesn't clear her head by going outside, she will encounter The Grim Reaper (who is actually Brad), whether with a staff or not. Fliss may stab the Grim Reaper in the stomach, killing Brad in the process. In Curator's Cut or Shared Story, Brad can dodge the attacks.

If both Brad and Fliss recognize each other in Cargo Hold 2, they will team up, leading to Pressure. During this chapter, if Fliss is the one to go down the hatch to get the ladder, she will lose the knife, as it will be washed away when the room is rushed with flood.

Wrench[]

During Echo/Finding Friends, Brad can find a wrench in the upper floor of Cargo Hold 2. Later on, if Brad doesn't find the gas mask previously, he will encounter an undead soldier (who is actually Fliss), whether with a knife or not. Brad may split the undead soldier in the head, killing Fliss in the process. In Theatrical Cut or Shared Story, Fliss can dodge the attacks.

Kitchen Knife (Matters of the Heart)[]

He will locate Olson who died of a heart attack with rats seemingly eating his carcass. After either grabbing or losing the distributor cap, Alex will back away from the swarm of rats crawling from the elevator shaft and pick up a knife from the table behind him. He will then make a break for the door and run into either the Human Experiment or a bloody Olson. He also begins to hallucinate a rat piercing through his stomach. He then has the option to either stab the rat or the figure he confronts. If he stabs the figure, he will kill Conrad, Fliss, or Julia in the process. Stabbing the rat will result in Alex dying.

In Curator's Cut, if the hallucinated protagonist fails to calm Alex, they will be stabbed by him.
