The End is the official epilogue of Little Hope and the twenty-first chapter overall.
It is a series of cutscenes with no gameplay. The chapter focuses on the fate of the college group, who was actually a single person all along. This is the game's conclusion that can have many variations depending on the player's choices.
Ruined House/Main Road[]
There are seven ending variations, all of which depend on:
- Whether Vince called the police.
- Whether Andrew has the gun and if it still has bullets.
- Whether Mary was executed.
- Whether Andrew is the only protagonist alive.
This ending can be obtained if:
- Vince did not call the police.
- Another protagonist is alive.
Andrew and the others walk down the road when they are called by Vince. Vince will apologize and say that it was not Andrew's fault and they both went through difficult times in the past. Before leaving, Vince will say that there is a diner with a working phone nearby and will advise him not to come back again. When the group reaches the diner, they remain happy and calm. Andrew then apologizes for making the others go through this and states how it will haunt him forever, after which the others reassure him.
It is revealed that John, Angela, Daniel, and Taylor are hallucinations and that Andrew is actually an older Anthony as the bus driver, who survived the fire. Then flashbacks are shown showing what it was like in reality: Anthony's conversation with the officer, waking up after the bus crash, dialogue at the pylon, passing through the bridge (in reality, the bridge was never collapsed at all), meeting Vince in the bar, church, and factory. Anthony will then stand alone, finally letting go of the past.
This ending can be obtained if:
- Vince called the police.
- Another protagonist is alive.

- Vince did not call the police.
- Only Andrew is alive.

Meeting The Curator[]
The player encounters The Curator once more. He closes the "Little Hope" book and informs that it is "game over", though they can always try again and see if they can get a "different result".
- If all protagonists survived, the Curator will clap and congratulate the player for saving all their single charges and helping them to find a way through the guilt and the horror.
- If someone was killed, the Curator will say about the problem with demons, which will haunt one if they don't lay them to rest.
- If one protagonist died, he will say that it's impressive and the group "almost" survived.
- If two or three protagonists are dead, he will say that it's not a bad effort and some found redemption and some didn't, all of which are the player's fault.
- If Andrew is the only survivor or all protagonists are dead, he will say that it's not a very happy ending or is it, depending on what makes the player happy.
The Curator will say that the player eventually found the bus driver.
- If the bus driver is alive, he will say that maybe he can put the past behind him.
- If the bus driver is dead, he will say that the player has lost him forever.
The Curator gets up from the desk and heads for the exit. He informs the player that they will meet again in the South Pacific (if the player doesn't have save files in Man of Medan), the Arabian Desert, or somewhere else, and then leaves the repository.
Collectibles[]
Secrets[]
- Crude Doll - Can be unlocked if all other 49 secrets have been found (including previous playthroughs). It will be in Anthony's hand or lie next to Anthony's corpse.
Deaths[]
Determinant[]
- If Mary was executed, Andrew/Anthony was friendly to Vince, and has the gun with at least a bullet, he will shoot himself.
Trivia[]
- The ending where Andrew tries to shoot himself and is out of bullets is glitched; the gun must be shot five times so that Andrew discovers the cylinder is empty in order to get it. Otherwise, he will still be able to shoot himself, despite having already used the four bullets.
- Ending 6 (Out of ammo) will also reward the "Fate Worse Than Death" trophy.
- This is the only chapter in which Andrew can die.
- If Andrew makes it to the diner with whoever survived, voices can be heard regardless of whoever that may have died. This is very likely the deceased spirits of his family, comforting him about the incident many years back.
- Angela/Anne can be heard telling him not to blame himself for it.
- Daniel/Dennis can be heard telling him to take it easy on himself.
- John/James can be heard saying that it was a tragic accident.
- Taylor/Tanya can be heard telling him that he is not alone.
- To add to this, after the voices and the characters disappear, Anthony turns around and says that he wishes that they could have all made it, further implying them to be voices of the spirits.
