- This corpse must have been affected by gas released by the electrical reaction with the Manchurian Gold chemicals.

- The corpse belongs to one of the ship's doctors during their "planned trip" through the Pacific, Doctor Taylor's, who was operating in that right moment.
- This is confirmed from the Secrets of the Ourang Medan's comic.
- It has a certain resemblance to the screaming corpse. Both must have died by similar causes.
