“ | I'm just gonna say it, this is exactly what goes down in horror movies. | ” |
Taylor is one of the five main protagonists and a playable character in The Dark Pictures Anthology's second installment, Little Hope. She is a college student in John's creative writing class and is secretly dating Daniel, though in actuality, she is a creation of Anthony's imagination. She was voiced and motion captured by Caitlyn Sponheimer and was modelled on Eleni Miariti. Her motion capture performance was assisted by Cheryl Burniston.
Appearance[]
Taylor is a young woman with fair smooth skin. She has brown penetrating eyes and short straight crimson hair made in a pixie cut.
Taylor wears a long black inner shirt that matches in color with a pair of short leggings. Both pieces of clothing are partially concealed by an open long green blouse and tied tightly with a dark leather belt, accentuating Taylor's feminine figure. She sports a pair of light blue sneakers with white laces.
Taylor wears a lot of different accessories. They include various intertwined gold chains, one with a heart-shaped end, a branded green wristwatch on the left wrist, multiple brown and spherical bracelets on the right wrist and finally a silver ring on the same hand.
After the bus crash, Taylor is left with few small scars. She can also get bruises on her neck if she was aggressive with John in Darkest Dreaming. Having escaped from her demon for the first time, Taylor will have either black slime on her neck and mouth (if the Hanged Demon) or burn and soot marks on her entire body (if the Burned Demon) for the rest of the game. If Taylor got a locked trait in Lost, her eyes would noticeably turn red.
Personality[]
Despite her fragile appearance, Taylor possesses a rebellious, tomboy-like personality and is generally the most emotional protagonist in the group. She has a very hot temper and gets quickly irritated or angry, which is accompanied by frequent swearing. Taylor is quite stubborn and often acts as she thinks is right, even if no one shares her ideas. The same goes for arguments, where she stands firmly for her opinion.
However, despite her ardent character, Taylor hides a very sensitive side that she reveals only to those closest to her. Even though she can stand up for herself in arguments, Taylor is helpless and in need of protection when faced with a real threat. This is shown vividly in her first encounters with various supernatural phenomena (the fog, her double and her demon) where Taylor quickly falls into a panic bordering on hysteria. She also has trust issues, which causes her to act on her own and even hide her and Daniel's relationship from the rest of the class.
In contrast to such flaws, Taylor displays positive qualities for both of her sides. She is sometimes rude and aggressive to her classmates, but at the same time Taylor can be sympathetic and supportive to them, especially when they are worried about current events, and show concern for their safety. She even admits herself that she began to feel a special connection to the class after surviving many demon attacks. When alone with Daniel, Taylor acts more feminine, becoming gentle and romantic.
While feeling safe around her boyfriend, Taylor is forced to face the dangers that make her team up with the rest of her class. She can either keep relying solely on herself, or conquer her fears and open up to others.
Biography[]
When Taylor was ten, she and her father painted stars on her tire swing. Before enrolling into college, she spent two years travelling across America to broaden her horizons. She also started dating Daniel, but they chose to keep their relationship a secret because Taylor wants to make sure Daniel is reliable before going public about it.
On May 28, 2019, Taylor was aboard a bus with her fellow college students and professor, they were going on a class field trip. That is, until a detour towards Little Hope and a bus crash changes their trip into something paranormal. They are now trapped in the ghost town and must figure out the root of the evil before all their souls get dragged to hell. Her fate would then be decided by the player, in which she would leave the town intact or forever be trapped with the other lost souls.

Main Story[]
Act 1[]
After the bus crash, Taylor, along with Andrew and John, are stranded in the middle of the road and Taylor attempts to get signal on her phone, but to no avail. When they find Daniel and Angela, they decide to meet further down the road. Reunited, Angela starts an argument with Taylor. Eventually, Andrew, in far more rage than before, screams at the group to stop arguing with each other and they decide to head into town. Along the way, they stumble upon a bar, where they go inside and meet with a stranger named Vince. However, getting no information, the group heads further into town. When Andrew and Angela were brought into the past and they tell them about their experience, Taylor doesn't believe them.
Arriving at an intersection, Taylor decides to split up from the others, whom she follows down a trail to a school followed by Daniel and possibly Angela. They reach the school and when they're about to exit the playground, they are startled by the girl. Having learned about the flashbacks, they move on and reach a general store, where Taylor walks around it. Eventually, the group is reunited again at the police station. The group continues on the main road until they reach a collapsed bridge. Taylor along with Daniel are separated from the others when a part of the bridge collapses.
Act 2[]
The group finds a detour in the form of a trail near the bridge. On the way, they find Amy's grave and run into Joseph spying on Mary. The group, walking along the trail, comes across a museum. While investigating, Taylor falls behind Daniel and sees Tabitha being accused of witchcraft. Finding Daniel, they find a knife and decide who will take it, after which they leave the museum. The group gets to an execution site and finds a swing. Taylor panics as she recognizes it as her swing with the stars. Moving on, they see Tabitha being executed, and then leave the place. Walking along the road, they realize that a demon is chasing them and they start to run away.
Running away from the demon, the couple runs into Andrew and John and the group hides in the church together. Inside the church, Taylor and Daniel are grabbed by David and they see his accusations. Then during the second flashback, she and John guarded the entrance below. Climbing the bell tower and seeing the demon, she panics and offers to leave, but Andrew stops her, believing that the church will protect them. Regardless, they are ambushed by the demons, after which Taylor starts running after Andrew, but loses him. Taylor will encounter her demon if she goes left, in which she can be saved or killed. If Taylor survives, she and the others flee into the woods.
Act 3[]
Taylor, along with the others, will take a break in the forest. When Angela meets with the group, Taylor will be relieved to see her. As they continue along the path, they are attacked again by the demons. Running from the demons, Taylor and Daniel will be ambushed by the demons, in which Taylor can be saved from her demise or die. After running away from the demons, the group arrives at a derelict building, where they discuss what to do about the girl. At this moment, Taylor sits down on a nearby fence, only to be ambushed by her demon once again. Taylor can be heroic against her demon, be fearful of it, or die to its hands.
Taylor, together with the group, stumbles upon a factory and explores it. Taylor, along with the others, follow the girl to the house. When Mary grabs the group, she is the only one who does not get into the flashback. During the attack by the demons, she and the others run into the house and hide there. Taylor, along with the survivors, will investigate the burned down house. Taylor may follow Andrew upstairs and find themselves in another court trial where Mary is accused. Taylor can help Andrew to blame Mary, the poppet, or expose Carver. Either way, Taylor along with the others decide to leave the house. If Taylor fails to break her locked traits or Mary was executed, she will be killed by her demon.
The End[]
If Taylor survives, she will leave Little Hope alongside Andrew and the others.
- If Andrew has a bad relationship with Vince, Taylor will witness Andrew being arrested by the officer.
- If Andrew has a good relationship with Vince, the group reaches the diner. Regardless of Taylor's fate, after Andrew apologizes, she will comfort him.
When it is revealed that Andrew is Anthony/the bus driver, Taylor will disappear as she is a hallucination.
