Randolph's Journal - Part 7 is the sixteenth secret of House of Ashes. It can be found by Salim or Jason in the catacombs. This secret appears in Enemy of My Enemy.

The seventh page of Randolph Hodgson's journal.
The front page tells about Mary's death from the infection. Randolph felt sorry for everything he did that indirectly caused Mary's death. Randolph then stated that Mary had sensed death coming after she spoke about "the end of everything". Randolph swore to bury the temple with his wife's last words.
The back page tells how after Mary died from infection, Randolph found Bradshaw's brooch in her hand, which Mary pulled when she grabbed her. After examining the brooch, Randolph noticed that it looked exactly like the creatures they found in the cocoons and realized that Bradshaw knew what was below all the time. At this point, he was attacked by Mary, who turned into a vampire, but thanks to the cell bars between them, Randolph was able to escape.

Mary is dead. I sat with her in her final moments, telling her how sorry I was. Sorry for accepting Bradshaw's offer. For ever coming to this hell-forsaken place. For placing my vanity above our love.
When Mary spoke about "the end of everything," I knew she sensed death coming.
With her last words, she made me swear to bury this place.

9PM. Something unholy has happened.
As I sat with my wife, I noticed something in her hand; Lady Bradshaw's brooch. She must have pulled from her shirt when she grabbed at her.
Turning it over, I noticed that it looked like one of the creatures we exhumed from the cocoons. Were these the demons Mary had spoken about? Had Bradshaw known all along what we'd find down here?
Then, Mary's corpse moved. It was not my wife - it was something inhuman! It leapt at me, and only the bars of the cell spared me from its fury.

It can be found on the ground to the right of the room with a well after Jason and Salim crawl through under the door.
