We each have our own demons. They are ours and ours alone...
This article is about The Dark Pictures Anthology's second installment, Little Hope
.
Pressed into Silence is a black picture in Little Hope. It can be found by Daniel, Andrew, or John outside the Ravenden Textiles Factory. This picture appears in Ruined.
Overview[]
A postcard. The front page is done in black and white 17th century style, depicting the execution of a man by being crushed with a wooden pallet and large weights.
Premonition[]
A monster crushes John's jaw as he tries to break free.
Outcome[]
The premonition can be fulfilled in Heavy Burden. When the protagonists are attacked by the Crushed Demon, they flee to hide in the burnt-out house. John will be caught and killed by the demon (unless he and Andrew are the only survivors) if:
- John fails QTEs to escape the demon's grip while fleeing into the house.
- John acts cowardly and fails QTEs to hold the door.
Location[]
The picture can be found on a barrel near the factory.
Trivia[]
- John's face is not stained with dirt in the premonition despite that change to his appearance being unavoidable.
- The picture, as well as its title, are references to Joseph's method of execution and John's cause of death.
