Pool is the fourth chapter of Act 3 in The Devil in Me and the thirty-fourth overall.

The player controls Mark as he explores the derelict pool of the hotel.

Swimming Pool, 3:14 AM

Mark walks through the pool area of outside the hotel. He can explore to find:

• The door to the pool house. It requires a key to open.
• A broken window giving a view into the pool house.
• A mannequin in the drained swimming pool. Next to it is someone's hand, which scares Mark. Next to the hand is the key to the pool house.

Upon entering the pool house, Mark is greeted by several mannequins, including a headless greeter holding towels. He can walk past the changing stalls, opening one to see a large blood spatter within, as he hears noises from ahead. He goes through the showers, where he can find more mannequins and mannequin parts, before finding an animatronic mannequin with its head moving back and forth and the Wedding Ring next to it.

Part of the ceiling collapses as Mark continues through the pool house, having to take a side hallway since the next room is blocked. In the side hallway he can look through the other side of the broken window, with bloody handprints on the wall around it. He can also crouch through an opening to enter the blocked room, where he is scared by a mannequin falling over and can find a 2 obol coin.

At the end of the side hallway, Mark enters the final room of the pool house, where he can find a picture before trying to force open the door to leave. Mark must complete a QTE to open it, and upon completing the QTE, he begins falling out of the door, which is revealed to be right at the edge of a cliff. Mark must complete a QTE to catch himself or he screams as he falls down.
