Sleep Technician Pari Simms was chosen for this mission due to her stellar engineering skills and can-do mindset.
Pari joined the mission to support her beloved mother. She regularly records messages to send home to her mother, treating these logs almost as a diary. In her spare time, Pari enjoys playing her favourite videogame Orinoco, reading any non-fiction she can get her hands on, and drinking copious amounts of coffee.
Playful yet driven, she and Carter are a near-perfect match in work compatibility, complementing each other's strengths and weaknesses. They play a crucial role ensuring the Cassiopeia remains fully operational over the course of its journey to Tau Ceti f while the rest of the crew are in hypersleep.[1]
