SUBJECT: SERVEY GROUP OBJECTIVES
TO: DIRECTORATE OF CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE
The objectives of the Survey Group are as stated:
- ORGANIZE AND DIRECT INTELLIGENCE CAPABILITIES ACROSS COALITION GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND ARMED FORCES (US/UK/AUS).
- APPLY INTELLIGENCE EXPERTISE TO DISCOVER, CAPTURE, AND EXPLOIT INFORMATION ON INDIVIDUALS, FACILITIES, AND OPERATIONS RELATIVE TO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION (WMD).
- ORGANIZE AND DIRECT WAR OPERATIONS TO SURVEY AND EXPLOIT WMD SITES WITHIN IRAQ.
The Survey Group reports direct to CENTCOM and the Director of Central Intelligence.
Findings in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) to be published quarterly from 6/1/2003.
