No Escape is the third chapter of Act 1 in Little Hope and the fifth overall.

The player controls Taylor (Theatrical Cut) and Angela (Curator's Cut) as the group heads into town.

Disused Pylon

The protagonists leave the disused pylon and walk along the road, though they can go back through the chained gate to find a picture. Along the way, Taylor asks Daniel why he has suggested that they are dead, and he replies that he watched a cable show about how the brain continues to work after death. In the distance they see a bar with a light from the window and John will offer to check it out. A shadow passes by the window, prompting Andrew to ask what it was. Upon approaching the bar, Daniel says that he and Taylor will catch up with the group and pulls her aside.

• If Taylor has previously denied that Daniel is her boyfriend, he will ask why she said that. Taylor can reassure him or insist that they are just having fun, the latter of which angers Daniel.
• If Taylor hasn't denied that she is dating Daniel, he will tell her that Angela is prying into their relationship and he is afraid she knows. Taylor will start questioning him and can blame him for saying too much to her or say she can imagine whatever she wants. If Taylor acts too suspicious, she will anger Daniel.

If Daniel was angered, he will storm back to the group without Taylor. Otherwise, Taylor assures him that she isn't ready for them to go public yet, and the two rejoin the group together.

Andrew, Angela, and John approach the entrance to the bar.

• In the previous chapter, if Angela agreed with John's plan to head into town and/or told Taylor to be civil, John will thank her for backing him up.

John then asks Angela to back off everyone a little. Andrew says that he remembers this place and that it seems familiar as he gazes at a beer sign above the door. To this, John suggests the feeling is due to Andrew's concussion. Angela can be dismissive or ask where he has seen it. John then says the sign is nothing unusual, and Angela can either be concerned for Andrew or sarcastically tell him not to think too hard.

Daniel and Taylor catch up with the others and everyone enters the bar. It is then shown that the protagonists are being stalked by someone with a spear.

Trivia

• The way Daniel and Taylor's conversation ends determines how they initially speak to each other in the next chapter. In Curator's Cut, their conversation will appear to end positively, but Daniel will be negative towards Taylor in the next chapter.
• One of the cars behind the fence is identical to Eric's and Rachel's car in House of Ashes, which can be seen in a potential flashback in The Ancient One.
