This article is about The Dark Pictures Anthology's second installment, Little Hope .

Newspaper: Factory Protests is a non-collectible item in Little Hope. It can be found by Daniel, Andrew, or John outside the Ravenden Textiles Factory. This item appears in Ruined.

Overview[]

A newspaper detailing the mayor's efforts to sell the factory and land to the RBAD Consortium overseas, and the protests against such action. There is a third article at the bottom that is barely legible, but seems to be about an exhibit on the Chicago World's Fair of 1893.

FEARS PROTESTS WILL SURELY ESCALATE AS CLOSURE LOOMS

WORKERS at the Ravenden Mill and their families have taken their protests directly to the Town Hall and the office of Mayor Sam Carver. At the picket line outside the government center, union representative Frank McCarthy of the TLUA Local 618 condemned the Mayor for ... (unreadable) ... "The ... (unreadable) ... for ... (unreadable) ... proposed in the new development are low-wage service roles. There aren't enough good jobs for us older employees."

A petition to consider a union plan to save the factory has already gained over a thousand signatures in the town of Little Hope. "The Union is willing to work with the family and make concessions to save the business," said a union steward. "We are holding our hand out to them, in partnership and preserving the town's future." However, there has been no response from the Mayor or his family to the union plan. A visit by RBAD representatives to the site is expected to draw a large protest from workers and townspeople. "We want them to go away," said one mother of three. "They are not welcome in Little Hope."
