Nautical Chart is the sixth secret of Man of Medan. It can be found by Alex, Fliss, Conrad, or Julia in the bridge deck. This secret appears in Distress Signal.
Overview[]
An old world map indicating with blue pins indicating the intended route back and red pins indicating the actual route. The planned route was from Manchuria across the South Pacific Ocean to San Francisco, while the actual route was from Manchuria to Guam in the Mariana Islands.
In-Game Description[]
A map showing the origin and destination of the ship. It was sailing from the Republic of China to San Francisco.
Location[]
It is located after crossing a curved corridor, just after the door attached with the Loose Cannon picture. Before entering the radio room, it can be found on a visible wall.
Trivia[]
- The route indicated in the map was related to the dangerous cargo the soldiers planned to take with them. They did not want to run into any other ships, under orders of Captain Ford and Tom Palmer.
- According the cargo bill of landing, the exact starting point of the ship (during the prologue) was Harbor Market (Manchuria, China), and the destination would be Bardnard's Point Naval Shipyard (San Francisco, United States).
- The ship went off course due to the chemical leak.
