Morellos is the fifteenth chapter of Act 2 in The Devil in Me and the twenty-eighth overall.

The player controls Kate as she and Erin discover the rooms of the Morellos, a family who visited the hotel right before the Lonnit crew.

2nd Floor Corridors, 2:23 A.M.

Kate, along with Erin if she is alive, struggles to open the wall that had closed in front of her. Suddenly, the power goes out, allowing her to open it and go through. The two hear distant banging down the hall, which is revealed to be the Anxiety Book preventing one of the walls from fully closing. Erin says that Charlie threw it down there earlier. Kate must do a QTE to open the wall and another to squeeze through, though the second QTE can be failed without consequence. The pair finds themselves in another hallway, where a woman's crying can be heard. Erin says that it doesn't sound like Jamie, and Kate can investigate a hole in the door to see the unmoving head of a woman before opening the door to the Morellos' rooms. In the first two rooms, she can find:

• Morello's Schedule. Kate must use her pencil to reveal the code 1999 underneath.
• J. Morello Sherman Book. Kate realizes the man on the ferry wasn't Du'Met.
• A child's doll. It says Bethany on the back, and Kate questions if that name was in the Hotel Guest Book.
• Bethany's Drawing.
• Connie's Bowl on the floor, updating the Mysterious Creature bearing.
• Body Snatching Article.
• A locked door with a number pad. The code is 1999, and behind it is the spare room.

Kate enters the spare room and the woman's crying grows louder. She can find a picture on the wall in the room before pulling back a mattress at the end of the room to reveal the Mrs. Morello Animatronic. The animatronic's head falls off, scaring her.

Trivia

• In Shared Story, both this and Waste Disposal are played at the same time.
  • If Charlie is dead so Waste Disposal cannot be played, then this chapter will be skipped as well.
  • If Charlie is alive, but Morellos is completed before Charlie gets on the conveyor belt in Waste Disposal, Charlie will be killed automatically.
