Transcript[]
I, Mary Milton, confess the truth of the wickedness I have witnessed. Before the sabbath day Mistress Amy did, by the Ash tree, commune with Black Samuel, a spirit with form of the dog that spoke with a voice of the man. Then she spun three times around and agreed to serve the spirit and deliver the children of the village to it. Then she made a poppet and placed a spell upon it to curse those who would oppose her. These and divers foul things I have seen.
