The Main Road is a location in The Dark Pictures Anthology's second installment, Little Hope.

Description

The main road is very long, stretching through the whole town and beyond. It is mostly intact, although near the execution site it is partially damaged, and there are also many cars there.

In some places (intersection, police station, city center and not far from the factory and Clarkes' house), smaller roads and trails separate from the main road, while in other places (intersection, bridge and next to the factory) a river flows under the road.

Little Hope

2019

The main road is used by the group as the main way of getting around the town. However, in some moments, the protagonists go out of the road, either running away from demons or looking for other ways. Several key events of the game also take place there:

• On the outskirts of Little Hope, the driver crashes the bus.
• Not far from the bar, the protagonists dragged in the 1692 flashback for the first time and meet Mary.
• At the intersection, the group personally meets the doubles (in that case - Amy).
• Near the execution site, the Hanged/Burned Demon begins to chase the group.
• At the exit from the town, the group encounters Vince, who can call the police for Andrew/Anthony to be arrested or tell them that there's a working phone in the diner.

• The Main Road is the most frequent location that appears in the game.
• The road is named "Main Street" in Visitor's Map.
