The Main Deck is a location in The Dark Pictures Anthology's first installment, Man of Medan.

Distribution[]

Kitchen[]

The kitchen is medium in size. It contains many stoves, pans, pots with moldy food and other kitchen utensils. The breakfast and lunch/dinner schedule for the week hangs on the wall. In the corner of the kitchen there is a small table with a knife on it.

Mess Hall[]

The mess hall is a huge venue. It contains a pile of long tables and chairs pushed against the walls and dusty dishes. There is a diary on one of the tables and a picture hangs above the clock.

Cargo Hold 3A[]

Main article: Cargo Hold 3A

Formely Area 7c, this was re-purposed as a cargo hold to store the bodies of US army soldiers.

Medical Ward[]

The medical ward has three rooms:

The main room contains several bunk beds. There is a first aid cabinet and several bedside tables against the wall. On one of the beds lies the corpse of a soldier.
The bathroom is located in the far corner of the medical ward. There is a sink against one wall and a bedside table and a cabinet with bandages on the opposite wall.
In the surgical room in the center there is an operating table with a corpse. Next to him is a small cart with surgical instruments and Electrocardiogram Results. In the corner of the room, by the desk, lies the corpse of a surgeon.

Man of Medan[]

2019[]

Alex, Julia and possibly Conrad get into the main deck, trying to catch up with Danny, who grabbed Fliss and possibly Brad. As they walk through the rooms, the group hears strange sounds and rustles, and also experiences minor hallucinations. In the kitchen, the protagonists can find a knife which Alex will either take, give it to Conrad, or put it on the table.

If Conrad stayed with the group, then reaching the medical ward Alex and Julia notice that he is missing and start looking for him.
