Little Hope Police Department is a location in The Dark Pictures Anthology's second installment, Little Hope.

Description[]

Police station is located in the center of the town, near the bridge and stands opposite the general store. There is a map at the main entrance, which shows the main locations of Little Hope (unlike other maps, this one does not have attractions). The windows in the building are covered with blinds, which makes it very dark in the station.

The entrance leads to the reception, which is followed by a huge corridor where drawers, papers and debris are scattered everywhere. It connects many offices, some of which are open and available for research. At the end of the corridor there are two passages: the left one leads to the kitchen and the right one leads to the dressing room, from where you can get to the prison cells.

Little Hope[]

1972[]

Anthony was taken to the police station after a fire in his house as the prime suspect. The evidence was the testimony of a passer-by who saw a matchbox in his hands. While Anthony was in prison, he carved an inscription on the wall that he had lost everything, and also made a doll. When it was revealed that Megan's doll was the real cause of the fire, Anthony was released.

2019[]

The first to enter the police station are the group that remains on the main road (Andrew, John and possibly Angela), who arrive there along the trail. They sneak in through the kitchen window and search the station for a phone. Soon the group finds him, but the phone is inoperative due to the lack of a cable. While searching the station for a cable, the phone suddenly starts ringing and Andrew/John picks it up. On the phone, they hear Amy's voice defending herself in court, after which a noise begins.

When Andrew/John hangs up, Amy herself appears and takes the group back into the past. They become witnesses to her trial and execution due to Mary's simulated seizure. The group also sees John, Daniel and Taylor's doubles - Joseph, David and Tabitha.

In the present, the protagonists begin to discuss what happened, but they are interrupted by knocks on the door. This turns out to be the second group that decided to go to school (Daniel, Taylor and possibly Angela), who decided to go to the police station after researching the general store. Both groups reunite and discuss what they need to know about Amy's fate. Angela offers to go further, as they have already checked other ways, after which the group leaves the police station.
