Little Hope Museum is a location in The Dark Pictures Anthology's second installment, Little Hope.

Description

The museum is located in the city center and is one of the attractions of Little Hope. It's a converted house with several rear doors and small rooms and a large hall. The reception is located at the main entrance.

The museum is dedicated to witch hunts and trials that took place in 1692, so all exhibits are associated with this event. The walls are hung with many documents and illustrations of ships, as well as shelves on which banks stand. All rooms have mannequins dressed in traditional Puritan clothing. Also, some mannequins illustrate execution techniques such as hanging and crushing.

Andrew and John find themselves in the museum, following the girl through the alley, and begin to examine it. The group can find a poppet inside a case. John offers to burn it, believing that Mary's spirit is attached to the doll and destroying it she will leave them alone. Andrew can agree or reject the idea, arguing that they, on the contrary, can make Mary angry. Leaving the museum, they briefly discuss that the girl could have specially brought them to the museum to the poppet, and then continue along the road.

As soon as Andrew and John have left the museum, Taylor and Daniel arrive there at the same time. Making their way into the museum through the window, they separate as Taylor, following the passing shadow, is pulled back by Tabitha. In the present, Taylor reveals that her double was arrested, after which the couple leave the museum. Before that, they can find a knife, which they can later use in the following chapters.

Trivia

• Its name is revealed by a book on the New England Witch Trials found in the Clarke Family Home, and in the museum itself before Taylor and Daniel arrive.
• In the past, it was both Tilly Johnson's house and where Tabitha lived (given the flashback that Taylor experiences inside).
