Lighthouse is the seventh chapter of Act 3 in The Devil in Me and the thirty-seventh overall.

The player controls Mark as he tries to get the lighthouse working.

Lighthouse, 4:02 A.M.

• Erin is alive
• Erin is dead

Mark, with Charlie if he is alive, struggles to climb the up to the lighthouse. Erin then appears and helps him up, surprising Mark. Mark and Erin embrace.

If Charlie is alive:

• If Erin found the edited tape in Silver Ash, Charlie asks her to help him up, but she stays back and lets him climb up on his own.
• If Erin did not find the edited tape in Silver Ash, she helps Charlie climb up and greets him warmly.

Mark asks Erin where Jamie and Kate are, and she tells them they got separated in the woods or, if one of them is dead, that they were killed by Du'Met. She then says she found a way inside the lighthouse and shows them an open window.

• If Charlie is alive and Erin found the edited tape in Silver Ash, she then tells Charlie that he's not coming with them because she heard his call with Du'Met and he set them up to die. Charlie says they can trust him but Erin says murderers kill people who trust them. If Erin found the notice of eviction in Cigarettes, she says the show is dead in the water and Charlie wants to profit off a documentary crew recording their own murders. Otherwise, she says the last minute trip to a remote location with no phones was all part of the plan. Charlie says that she's not thinking straight, but Erin tells Mark they need to tie him up. Mark can agree and tie Charlie up as Charlie threatens to fire him or say he trusts Charlie.
  • If Mark sides with Erin, he ties Charlie up on the fence. Charlie demands Mark unties him or he's fired, but Mark says that's not a priority.
  • If Mark sides with Charlie or says nothing, Charlie remains with the group, to Erin's discomfort.

Mark approaches the lighthouse. If Charlie is alive, Mark asks if the others are there and Charlie says they need to find a way in and deal with one thing at a time. Mark finds an open window into the lighthouse.

• If Charlie is alive and Erin found the edited tape in Silver Ash and didn't die in that chapter, Mark can say it's time to call for help or ask if Charlie planned this with Du'Met, which Charlie denies.

Mark, Erin (if alive), and Charlie (if alive and not tied up) enter the lighthouse through the window. They find themselves in the basement, and say it's time to get the lighthouse working. As he explores the lighthouse, Mark can find:

• List of Aliases.
• Degree Certificate.
• Returned Letter.
• A 5 obol coin.
• A business card.
• A closet. Opening it results in a cat jumping out and scaring Mark.
• A set of boat keys.
• Two sets of tapes. Mark presses the first one and it plays the edited audio tape from Silver Ash. Mark presses the second one and it plays Charlie's phone call to Morello from Opportunity, along with it being scrambled to sound like the edited tape.
  • After the first tape, if Erin is alive and listened to it in Silver Ash and Charlie is not tied up, she says that's what she heard.
  • After the first tape, if Erin is alive and listened to it in Silver Ash and Charlie is tied up, she says she told Mark that Charlie was in on it.
  • After the first tape, if Charlie is alive and not tied up, he says he never said that.
  • After the second tape, if Erin is alive and listened to it in Silver Ash, she says that she has heard this call before, but then realizes that the tape is edited. She then exclaims that she's an idiot for believing the tape was real and that she should've known it was fake because she's a sound technician.
    • If Charlie is tied up, Mark will tell Erin that they should light up the lighthouse first before untying him.
  • After the second tape, if Charlie is alive and not tied up, he says he is an idiot for accepting everything Morello said.

Eventually, Mark goes up the stairs and enters the lighthouse's lantern room. He attempts to turn on the beacon but finds it has no power, and must walk along the ledge outside to pull a lever and power the controls. He re-enters the lantern room and turns on the beacon, celebrating as it begins signaling across the lake.

• If Erin found the edited tape in Silver Ash, is alive, and Mark agreed with her to tie up Charlie, Charlie's death will be guaranteed in Lake.
