Jeff Whitman is one of the two false protagonists and a playable character in The Dark Pictures Anthology's fourth installment, The Devil in Me. He was one of many visitors of H.H. Holmes' "Murder Castle," honeymooning with his wife while unaware of the horrors that lurk within. He was voiced and motion captured by Edward Bluemel and was modelled on Leonardo Patane.

Prologue[]
Jeff and Marie are welcomed into Holmes's hotel, and are upgraded to the honeymoon suite by him. Jeff then either purchases a pocket watch or a necklace at the hotel's shop, and makes some small talk with Marie. They both then go to their suite, stopping along to the way to explore an unfinished room. After a pillow fight, Jeff either shows Marie the pocket watch he bought, or gives her the necklace he bought for her. Marie then heads off for a bath, and she tells Jeff to get a shaving kit in the hotel lobby. After wandering for a while, Jeff then almost falls into a spike pit, and runs back to warn Marie. After he gets to the bathroom, he finds Holmes either having already drowned Marie, or slitting her throat. He can then fight Holmes or run away.
- If he runs away or fails the QTE fight Holmes, he will be trapped in a room while it fills with poisonous gas, and can watch through a window to see Marie's dead body, or them both looking at each other through the window before they die.
- If he succeeds the QTE to fight Holmes, he holds Marie's body while Holmes slits his throat.
