Personality[]

She's been at Lonnit Entertainment from the start. Confident, loud and very funny, she is practical and generous with her opinions.

Jamie is a hard-headed and sarcastic person, always having something unsolicited to say, which usually makes her seem cold to others, but she doesn't mind.

Having been working as a lighting technician for several years, Jamie shows disinterest in most of her daily duties, as she rarely gets a chance to meet anyone. She has a mostly working relationship with the rest of her crewmates, though she cares fondly about her time with Erin, being secretly in love with her. Still, despite the relationships, Jamie equally trusts in each of the crew and relies on them when she needs it the most.

Jamie is self-aware and pragmatic, speaking more openly about the crew's situation at the hotel and frequently stating how everything is off ever since they got their first call from Du'Met. Locked in a hotel alone with a serial killer, Jamie remains composed and sensible, rarely panicking. She is also selfless, choosing to become bait for Du'Met to trap him and even sacrificing herself in the glass trap to save Kate despite their rivalry.

Biography[]

Jamie was born on August 7, 1996. At some point in her life, she joined Lonnit Entertainment to be their lighting technician for their show called, "The Architects of Murder". During her time at the company, she developed deep feelings for Erin and started a rivalry with Kate.

On October 26, 2022, Jamie was taken on a trip by Charlie to visit and document a replica of H.H. Holmes' "Murder Castle", in order to film their final episode for season one of "The Architects of Murder". She arrived on a remote island in Lake Michigan and was checked into the hotel. But when walls began to move and voices began wailing within in them, she realized she had stepped into a death trap. Her fate would then be decided by the player, in which she would successfully check out of the hotel, or become one of the killer's many victims.

Holmes' "Murder Castle" by a Mr. Du'Met, the crew pack and get ready to go to the agreed location. A limo arrives and Jamie puts her equipment in the back trunk, making less space for Kate's belongings, the two have a short bicker to which Kate forfeits.

The crew get in the limo and Jamie mentions how their trip feels like their trip to Topeka, Charlie defends himself but he backs down. Du'Met's voice on the speaker asks them to give up their phones for the sake of his privacy, the crew gets worried but Charlie reassures them, Jamie along with the others give in their phones. They arrive at the shoreline of Lake Michigan where Jamie complains about the driver not helping them take out their stuff. Charlie and Mark decide to go to a lighthouse to film some shots, Jamie warns Charlie that he'll hack up a lung before making it there, Charlie reassures her. Jamie waits until the ferry arrives on shore, she meets Du'Met and smiles as they drive to the island. Arriving on the island, Erin notices the dangerous security measures surrounding it, Du'Met reassures her but Jamie further interrogates him to which he says it is for their safety.

Charlie begins to shoot and as Jamie prepares her lighting equipment, she mocks Kate about her looks to which they both joke about. Du'Met abruptly stops the shoot and ushers them to the hotel, Kate injures her ankle and Charlie leaves Jamie to help her, reminding her about their plan like the one in Glendale. Jamie and Kate explore the hotel grounds but find nothing of use, besides finding that there is a groundskeeper on the island. The duo reunites with the others before getting scolded by Du'Met about not staying where he told them to. They arrive on a bridge and Jamie finds out about Mark's fear of heights, she antagonizes him before moving on. The crew arrive at the hotel's entrance and Kate mentions to her about seeing a girl at the window, Jamie makes fun of her fame due to this to which Kate feels insulted.

They all enter and get checked in at the lobby. Jamie gets her room key and goes to her room, she finds Erin and scares her. She is told by Erin about not being the only people in the hotel, Jamie mentions the girl that Kate saw to which Erin confirms. Jamie invites Erin into her room and the two flirt, Erin drops her lip balm under the bed and goes to pick it up. She gets an asthma attack and Jamie starts to worry but it quickly fades away, the two continue to bond and Erin goes in for a kiss. Jamie can reciprocate the action or deny it. The two find Charlie eavesdropping and is informed about their shoot after dinner, Charlie brings Erin along to find his cigarettes. Jamie, now alone, looks out her window to find Du'Met and the young girl leaving the island, to which she questions.

Jamie later goes for dinner, she finds the crew there and tells them about what she saw. The crew is in disbelief but Jamie sticks to what she saw, Kate and Charlie begin to argue as everyone joins in. Charlie proposes a toast to which he'll be either antagonistic or optimistic. The crew decides to go for a shoot in the lobby and they separate to prepare. Jamie tries to set up her equipment but accidently cuts out the power, she goes to fix the problem by repairing the breaker. Wandering alone in the dark, Jamie worries about her current situation, she finds some information about Du'Met and is introduced to the animatronic quartet.

She fixes the breakers and gets the power back on before meeting with Charlie in the lobby, they talk before hearing Erin's scream, they run to find her. The crew finds Erin locked inside a room, they try to open the door to no avail, Erin begins to have a asthma attack. Jamie, Kate, and Mark try to calm her as they try breaking down the door. Jamie and Kate separate to find something to break it down, they find a candleholder and break down the door to find Erin either missing or in deep despair. If she's missing, Jamie looks around the room and shouts her name. Otherwise Jamie tries to console her and Erin tells the crew about her experience, Charlie tells them to get Erin to her room.

Act 2[]

The crew argues about Erin's experience, Jamie defends Erin and believes her story. Kate agrees with Jamie and scolds Charlie for allowing them to stay inside the hotel, she suggests leaving to which Charlie denies. Charlie decides to try and find Du'Met to get answers, despite Kate's protest he goes as Jamie tags behind him, Jamie assures Erin that she'll be back for her later. Jamie finds that Charlie has no intention of finding Du'Met but intends to get some shots for their show. Jamie scolds him for this and the two have a brief back and forth, they go down to the lobby only to find that it has been wrecked. They open a door and find blood stains, Jamie beings to panic but is reassured by Charlie, Jamie is annoyed by his reaction to the blood.

They follow the blood and enter a room, the door closes as they find the groundskeeper tied to a chair. Charlie steps on a pressure plate that activates a contraption. The contraption causes a scythe to hang over the groundskeeper, Jamie deduces that if Charlie steps off the plate, the scythe will impale the groundskeeper. Du'Met appears and looms a knife near Charlie's face. Jamie can wait for Charlie to take action or pull him back, either way the groundskeeper will be impaled by the scythe and the duo exit the room. They attempt to escape but metal bars block them from the outside, they try to lift up the bars but to no luck.

The duo find Kate and Jamie but are blocked off by a moving wall, before the wall fully closes, they try to force it back open. Charlie can get his hand crushed in the process, otherwise he'll be able to warn Kate and Mark. If Charlie had his hand crushed, Jamie will patch it up before informing him that he'll need a hospital. They venture the corridors and soon hear a child's wails, they follow the wail and enter a freezer. Inside are the carcasses of pigs and Natalie Morello's body. Jamie locates a door and Charlie tries to open it, the handle breaks which causes the latter to fall through a trapdoor. Jamie calls out to him but the trapdoor closes. A freezer door opens and Jamie is forced to enter, the door soon closes right after.

Jamie explores her new surroundings and find a room filled with mannequins, she also finds evidence of Du'Met's mother. Eventually she finds a projector with a microphone, on the projector, there's a note that warns her to tell Erin to hide or else she'll die. She watches as Erin comes into vision to which Jamie calls out to her, Jamie can tell her to either hide or run. If Jamie tells her to run, Erin will do what she is told and the projector cuts out. If Jamie tells her to hide, Erin will go hide in a closet and Jamie watches as Du'Met enters the room, the projector cuts out and Jamie leaves through a door. She finds both Kate and Mark inside the restaurant, Jamie fills them up on what had happened when they got split up, she also notices the table filled with mannequins of themselves.

Jamie's mannequin begins to repeat the word "dead", which causes Kate to tell her to shut it up. Jamie grabs a bottle and strikes the mannequin which causes an eyeball to fall out, Jamie picks it up to discover that it is real. The trio try to leave but find that the doors are now locked. They try to open one of them and another door unlocks themselves. They enter a bar and go through a door behind the counter which makes causes them to end up in a wine cellar. On a barrel, Jamie finds Charlie's lighter, Charlie then appears on a TV screen, they try to exit through a door but find it locked. A code is needed to open it, a timer starts to tick down and the trio figure out that the code is located on the wine bottles, they open the door and discover on a monitor that Charlie is now inside a room filled with gas.

A mannequin lights a lighter which causes the room to go up in-flames, Mark finds and pulls down a lever with a fire symbol on it, Jamie finds that the fire is now dying down. But in doing so, fire begins to near towards Mark in the room, Jamie tells Mark to keep holding the lever as Charlie is finding a way out. Charlie begins to scream and Kate pulls Mark away as the fire catches up to him, the trio watches in horror as they witness Charlie's supposed death. A wall opens up and the trio continue to move forward, they discover an abandoned spa and Jamie tries to open a door to the lobby, the door fails to open so she tries another way. Jamie and Mark find another door then force it open, they activate a contraption and fall through an open floor. Now separated from Kate, they try to make their way back to her, they discover what happened to the construction workers who were Du'Met's victims. They also find a key to the lobby door before reuniting with Kate.

The trio open the door then make their way up the stairs and wander the corridors, Kate hears something then runs off. Kate finds Erin but is trapped in a section of the vault. Jamie and Mark catch up to them and watch through two windows as air gets sucked out of both sections, horrifying them. Mark tries to open they're doors but with no luck, he spots a regulator switch and quickly deduces that in order to save one, they have to kill the other. Mark is too afraid to choose so Jamie is forced to make the choice as Erin begs for her life.

If Jamie chooses to kill Erin, she suffocates and Jamie can watch as she writes in blood Charlie's name. If Jamie chooses to kill Kate, Erin thanks Jamie and escapes out of the vault. Kate begins to suffocate but not before informing Mark about a leak in the window. Mark breaks the window which saves Kate's life. Jamie is concerned for Kate but is slapped by her. Reunited with Erin, they tell her about Charlie's death, she can tell them about his betrayal or is shocked about the news.

The trio open the door then make their way up the stairs and wander the corridors, they hear Erin's voice and follow it while conversing about Du'Met. They find him exiting a room, the trio enter said room to find many surgical equipment and a heart rate monitor. Jamie can find Erin's directional microphone which causes her to worry, she moves a surgical drape and find Erin sitting on a wheel chair. Jamie calls for the others about her discovery.

Jamie turns Erin around and is horrified to find her mutilated, with blood being pumped into her heart, the crew are shocked to see her turned into an animatronic. The heart stops beating and Jamie leaves the room, Kate covers Erin's body with a tarp. They leave the room and go back into the corridors. Jamie gets comforted by Kate but she shakes her off and tells her to stop acting like she cares now.

The crew all agree to head to the lighthouse in order to signal for help, but before they plan further, Kate hears the walls begin to move. Kate runs off and Erin is close behind her, Mark falls through a trapdoor as Jamie gets blocked off from the others. Jamie, now by herself, walk through the many corridors. She finds a fuse box to which she tampers with, this causes a wall to malfunction and open, she enters the newly opened wall. Jamie can enter her room to find it wrecked, she can pick up Erin's lip balm as well. In another room, she finds a mirror emitting a red light, she opens it and discover how Du'Met moves within the walls. She can also find Mark on one of the monitors.

Jamie sees through a window a dead body sitting in a interrogation room, before being startled by Du'Met. She listens in as he plays a tape. As Du'Met leaves the room, Jamie hides, after he leaves she sees Kate and Erin through a one-way mirror. Jamie breaks the mirror which scares the two, they are relieved to find Jamie on the other side, Jamie informs them about what she has discovered. The trio try to enter the room Du'Met was in but quickly hide as he exits through it, Du'Met doesn't notice them and they enter the room. They find a giant nerve center and deduces that this is how Du'Met moves quickly around the hotel.

The trio explore the nerve center and find a control area that Du'Met uses to move the walls, they form a plan to trap Du'Met between them. Jamie decides to be bait in order to trap Du'Met much to Erin's concern. Jamie brings out her screwdriver and can keep or give it to Kate. Jamie is told by Erin to be careful and can be confessed by her that she loves her. Jamie then goes to initiate the plan, she exits the nerve center and out into the hallway. She enters the Silver Ash Institute and finds Du'Met, she runs and can lose her screwdriver if kept in the process. Jamie trips and can shout at Kate to close the wall, if Kate closes it, Jamie can get killed. Otherwise Jamie makes it on the other side, Jamie is relieved but discovers that Du'Met is still with her. Jamie runs back with Kate and Erin, they run away from Du'Met and Jamie gets separated from Kate and Erin, she runs into a room after being blocked by a wall.

Inside the room, Jamie finds Kate on the other side of a glass wall, she sees a button with a reverse symbol on it. Before she could say anything else, the wall starts to move closer to her. Jamie realizes that if she presses the button then the wall will move towards Kate, saving her own life, but kill Kate in the process. Kate tells her to make the decision and decide which one of them will die. Depending on Jamie's choices beforehand, Jamie can get crushed to death but can be saved by the screwdriver. Otherwise Kate will save Jamie and cause Du'Met to fall from the rooftops. The duo make their way down, where Jamie thanks Kate for saving her life, they also reunite with Erin. Before any more celebrations are had, Du'Met rises back up and chases them.

They run into a maze where Jamie and Kate hide, after Du'Met leaves, they make sure Erin is safe before continuing on. The trio try to find a way out of the maze, Erin comments on how Du'Met might be selectively mute. They escape the maze only to be surrounded by mannequins that resemble Du'Met, one moves and they run towards a barn, Du'Met grabs an axe stuck on a stump. Erin directs them toward a door at the far end but can get separated, which will lead to her getting hacked with an axe by Du'Met. Reaching the end of the barn, Du'Met corners them on the porch. As he steps onto the porch, it breaks and the duo gets separated from Erin.

Jamie and Kate tumble down a slope where after reaching the end, the former notices that Erin isn't with them, Kate reassures her that Erin knows the plan and where they're heading. They continue on their path until they find a farmhouse. The duo enter and find the Morello's dog Connie, before anything else, they see Du'Met's silhouette outside.
