Familiars is a black picture in Little Hope. It can be found by Andrew or Angela outside the Black Cat Bar. This picture appears in Playing Tricks.

Overview

A postcard. The front page depicts a cauldron of green potion stirred with a pestle.

Premonition

Andrew aims his revolver at a shadowy figure.

Outcome

Preparations for the premonition occur in Off Track when Andrew stumbles upon a shack where he must find a revolver. Then, Angela must survive confrontations with the Drowned Demon in The Crossing and Lost.

The premonition itself can happen in Low Point. If the conditions above have been complied with, when the survivors are resting in the woods, they will hear a noise followed by the appearance of a demon silhouette in the fog. Andrew points the gun at the figure at which John can either encourage him or ask him to put the gun down:

• If Andrew shoots, it is revealed that the figure is Angela who was shot in the throat. The confrontation ends not only with Angela's death, but also with the loss of the gun, which John throws into the bushes.
• If Andrew doesn't shoot, Angela will approach the group slowly, revealing herself.

Alternatively, if Andrew doesn't have the gun, they will hide behind a rock and see Angela approaching.
