Danny is the fourth chapter of Act 2 in Man of Medan and the twelfth overall.

The player controls Fliss as she, possibly with Brad, is escorted by Danny through the lower deck.

Lower Deck - Workshop, 2:16 A.M.

Fliss (alone or with Brad) walks through the ship's workshop, under the sights of Danny. They will either walk silently through the corridors or Fliss will whisper to Brad about trying to take Danny out. As the group hears strange noises and sees many bodies of soldiers, Danny gradually becomes anxious. Exploring the workshop, Fliss is able to find:

• The Medan hat lying on bags and gas cylinders. At first, Danny will see a corpse, but realizing it's just bags and gas cylinders, he knock the hat down.
• A screaming corpse. Danny will assume that the ship is cursed, which Fliss will be skeptical of his statement.
• A wrench. Fliss can try to pick it up, but Danny will push her away.
• A picture. Fliss can try to inspect it, but Danny will push her away and they will move on. However, when Danny runs away, Fliss can return and examine the picture.

Soon, the group reaches the end of the corridor and Danny appears very distressed. He starts calling out to Olson and banging his gun on the wall, then runs away in a panic as he shoots wildly and drops his flashlight for Fliss to pick up. Fliss will have the opportunity to follow only to find the door Danny ran through locked, which causes her to have to perform a QTE to open it. She can later inspect a vent, only to be scared by a figure behind the bars. Fliss then stumbles upon Cargo Hold 3.

• If Brad got on the ship with the others, but wasn't caught by the pirates, he will then appear to Fliss before entering Cargo Hold 3. They will exchange dialogue, after which Brad will follow Fliss.

The duo then move on and can find another secret, the guard duty schedule if it was knocked down by Danny in Abandoned Ship, and a knife, which Fliss takes with her. As she passes through the doorway into the next corridor, a corpse turns his head at her. As Fliss is frightened, the door closes behind her, separating her from Brad if he is present.

• Medan Hat - On the floor after Danny knocks it off a metal beam.
• Screaming Corpse - Fliss and Danny will encounter it in the workshop.
• Dog Tag - In front of several corpses to the right, at the end of the hold.

• Close Quarters - On the wall. Can only be viewed after Danny flees.

Trivia

• Finding the Medan Hat can affect the game's ending.
• In Shared Story, both this and Caskets are played at the same time.
  • In Theatrical Cut, the chapter is played until the moment when Fliss is locked in the corridor and occurs after Caskets.
  • In Curator's Cut, the chapter ends when Fliss escapes from the corridor and ends up in the ballroom and occurs before Caskets.
