The Dark Pictures Anthology Intro
Oooh, Death, oooh, Death.
Won't you spare me over 'til another year?
Well what is this that I can't see?
With icy hands gettin' hold of me.
Well I am Death, none can excell.
I open the door to Heaven and Hell.
Too late, too late, to all farewell.
My soul is doomed so heed me well.
As long as God in Heaven dwell.
Your soul, your soul shall scream in Hell.
Whoooah, oooh nooo.
Khemmis
Oooh, Death, oooh, Death.
Won't you spare me over 'til another year?
Well what is this that I can't see?
With icy hands gettin' hold of me.
Well I am Death, none can excell.
I open the door to Heaven and Hell.
Whoooah, oh Death, whoooah, oh Death.
Too late, too late, to all farewell.
My soul is doomed so heed me well.
As long as God in Heaven dwell.
Your soul, your soul shall scream in Hell.
Whoooah, oooh nooo.
Whoooah, oh Death, whoooah, oh Death.
Gangstagrass feat. Brandi Hart, Liquid and R-Son
Won't you spare me over til another year
Won't you spare me over til another year
Won't you spare me over til another year
Won't you spare me over til another year
Won't you spare me over til another year
O death, o death, won't you spare me over til another year
Well what is this that i can't see
With ice cold hands taking hold of me
Well i am death none can excel
I'll open the door to heaven or hell
Everybody's looking trying to find a way out
See them seeing every day what this world's all about
You're realizing that it's hard trying to pick the right path
There's poor people poor streets inside the neighborhood mass
Bearing scars of the past they keep trying to escape
Destiny within their eyes these are the tears of our fate
All these numbers of our lives we keep trying to equate
That got us living everyday we're in search of that gate praying
O death, o death, won't you spare me over til another year
O death someone would pray
Would you come and call me another day
The children prayed, the preacher preached
Time and mercy is out of your reach
Lo and behold the pale horse
And the rider who decides the fate of one who made a failed choice
With a tail off behind it it trails off in a fire and spark
Those who don't know this stuck on a stale course
Yeah we all fake death when it comes to comes to take your breath
Usually without knowing how many days are left
Some raise their chests others cower when it comes
Whether you're living in the towers or down in the slums
O death, o death, won't you spare me over til another year
Well i'll fix your feet til you can't walk
I'll lock your jaw til you can't talk
I'll close your eyes so you can't see
This very hour come and go with me
Praying heavens coming praying it doesn't come late
This is for real man this is how I'm pushin' my pain
When ash is always falling in death's rain
It's cold outside death look me in my eyes
Hold to these plans man we gotta be wise
Pull through together cause then they will rise
I'm saying peace for all my people that can see through the lies
And can la la briefs running up her thighs well she's singing
O death, o death, won't you spare me over til another year
I'm death i've come to take the soul
To leave the body and leave it cold
To draw up the flesh off of the frame
Dirt and worm both have a claim
Take a moment to reflect on
Think of all the things in your life that you slept on
Will slip through your fingers like teflon
Cause you lost your focus instead he's thinking about the next jawn
Saying that the next dawn you'd make things better
But you didn't get a chance to make your reparation
Better make some preparations but if you're not ready yet
Death comes for all of us my friend so you better get
O death, o death, won't you spare me over til another year
Won't you spare me over til another year
Won't you spare me over til another year
Won't you spare me over til another year
Won't you spare me over til another year
Won't you spare me over til another year
Tim Eriksen
Oh what is this that I can't see
With icy hands takes hold on me
I am death, none can excel
I hold the key to heaven or hell
Oh, death, oh, death, won't you spare me over for another year?
Oh I have come to get your soul
Leave your body and leave it cold
To drop the flesh right off of your frame
The earth and worms both have their claim
Oh, death, oh, death, won't you spare me over for another year?
Oh, death, oh, death, consider my age
Please, don't take me at this stage
My wealth is all at your command
If you will move your icy hand
Oh, death, oh, death, won't you spare me over for another year?
No wage, no ruin, no silver, no gold
Nothing satisfies me but your soul
The old, the young, the rich and poor
Are all alike with me will have to go
Oh, death, oh, death, won't you spare me over for another year?
Oh, death, oh, death, won't you spare me over for another year?
Oh, death, oh, death, won't you spare me over for another year?
Bitter End
What is this that I can't see?
With ice cold hands takin' hold of me
Well I am Death, don't you excel
I'll open the door to Heaven or Hell
Whoa, Death, someone would pray
Could you wait to call me another day
The humanity prayed, the preacher preached
Time and mercy is out of your reach
I'll fix your feet til you can't walk
I'll lock your jaw so you can't talk
I'll close your eyes so you can't see
This very hour, come and go with me
I'm Death I come to take your soul
Leave the body and leave it cold
To drop the flesh of the frame
Dirt and worm both have a claim
O, Death
Oh Death please consider my age
Please don't take me at this stage
My wealth is all at your command
If you will move your icy hand
I'll fix your feet til you can't walk
I'll lock your jaw so you can't talk
I'll close your eyes so you can't see
This very hour, come and go with me
I'm Death I come to take your soul
Leave the body and leave it cold
To drop the flesh of the frame
Dirt and worm both have a claim
O, Death
Well you're hurtin' my body
You make me cold
You run the life right outta my soul
No wealth, no land, no silver, no gold
Nothing satisfies me but your soul
Won't you spare me over 'til another year
Won't you spare me over 'til another year
Won't you spare me over 'til another year
O, Death
Spare me over 'til another year
Signature Quartet
Oh, Oh, Death,
Oh, Oh, Death,
Won't you spare me over 'til another year?
Oh what is this I cannot see,
With icy hands taking hold of me?
Oh Death, oh Death, none can excel,
I open the doors to heaven and hell,
Yes I have come to get your soul,
And leave your body and leave it cold,
To drop the flesh from on your frame,
The earth and worm both have their claim.
I said,
Oh, Oh, Death,
Oh, Oh, Death,
Won't you spare me over 'til another year?
I said,
Oh, Oh, Death,
Oh, Oh, Death,
Won't you spare me over 'til another year?
Now Death, now Death, if this is true,
Please give me time to reason with you.
From time to time, you heard and saw,
So I'll close your eyes and I'll lock your jaw,
I'll lock your jaw so you can't talk,
I'll fix your feet so you can't walk,
And I'll dim your eyes so you can't see,
This very hour, now come with me.
I said,
Oh, Oh, Death,
Oh, Oh, Death,
Won't you spare me over 'til another year?
I said,
Oh, Oh, Death,
Oh, Oh, Death,
Won't you spare me over 'til another year?
Now Death, now Death, please give me time,
To fix my heart and change my mind.
Your heart is fixed, your mind is brought,
I'll have your shackles to drag you down.
Too late, too late, to all farewell,
My jaw is fixed, I'm summoned to hell,
As long as God in heaven should dwell,
My poor soul shall burn in hell.
I said,
Oh, Oh, Death,
Oh, Oh, Death,
Won't you spare me over 'til another year?
I said,
Oh, Oh, Death,
Oh, Oh, Death,
Won't you spare me over 'til another year?
