Without sources, is a little pretty hard to believe, since it's a fandom
It can't be because of at least one year with no anthology because the trailer point it to 2023 so...
As we wait for the game's release date I want to review what we have so far and give some of my theories. We know from the trailer at the end of The Devil in Me that the space crew of the Cassiopeia was led by Commander Stafford and they were stationed outside Tau Ceti F. At some point, the ship's haul is breached and something alien is aboard, presumably something infectious as evidenced by Thomas Carter's interrupt that "something's wrong with Simms," and the flashes of some odd pink organic material inside a hallway. Before the transmission ends, Stafford claims that they will radio back once they reach "Humanity's future home."
We also have the Golden portrait picture which shows two astronauts on a spacewalk outside a space station/ship until an explosion launches one of them into empty space.
So what does this tell us? What does the golden painting mean? What will the prologue be and what will the story be?
I think most likely that the gold picture may be the inciting incident or at least an unavoidable scene rather than a preventable outcome. Looking back through the previous games' gold pictures, they're all unavoidable scenes (Tanya's death in Little Hope, Rachel falling into the blood pit, and Charlie being trapped in the furnace). My point being that if Supermassive follows the same format, this is also an unpreventable action where one character or protagonist will get blown into space. What happens afterwards may be determinant by us. Maybe the other character will try to save them, maybe the stranded character will try to save themselves, or maybe this is part of the prologue to show the haul breach (As evidenced by Little Hope showing a prologue scene of Tanya's unavoidable death). Either way, this is a necessary scene that will always happen (Unless Season two doesn't follow the format of Season one). Which leads me to my next theory.
As for my speculations on the game and what the prologue may be, I think the prologue may follow Stafford's crew during the haul breach and initial alien infection (Similar to Man of Medan or House of Ashes). An unavoidable event that will always occur. While I think the main story may a format similar to House of Ashes where a second [rescue] team investigates the Cassiopeia after the Cassiopeia's crew failed radio in but they're attacked by the aliens. Similar to the teens trapped on the Orang Medan in Man of Medan fighting their kidnappers, or the Soldiers investigating the remains of the archeologists while fighting the vampires in House of Ashes.
But these are just my thoughts. What do you think is in store for us? Regardless, I look forward to the next installment of the Dark Pictures Anthology.
I do wish since I screwed up by indirectly failed which caused me to kill of Ond of Two LGBT+ Character.
Hey, maybe we should work on transcrpits?

In The Devil in Me, in the Interrogation chapter, you technically play as Du'Met for a short amount of time because you have the option to end the tape early even though Jamie doesn't have access to it, and instead Du'Met is seen ending it.
The distorted / broken version of We Three as seen in Glamour Girl
I just got Jessica killed and I don't know how to rewind the save data to unkill her to get a perfect run where is the scene selection in until dawn
Why are Man of Medan and Little Hope's epilogues official but House of Ashes and The Devil in Me are unofficial?

Hello! I have a question. I was playing man of medan. and my goal was to get all the pictures. There is 1 picture left. and to get that picture i need to play the curator`s cut. but i do not know how to enable it.
So I recently obtained the entire Anthology Season 1 after I played through The Quarry.
I have beaten The Quarry and Man of Medan and somehow lucked out on getting the perfect ending for both of those games.
So now I have the self-appointed goal of trying to complete ALL of these games by getting the perfect ending without looking up answers.
Hoo boy. Wish me luck. Two down, three to go. I think I am about a third of the way through Little Hope.
what if there was more more human vampire that was still a threat. Imagine if one of the archaeologists found it's way into the hut in the end (if The Ancient One had already died)
If merwin is kept alive for as long as possible. There is a scene where vampire joey approaches him. This made me wondering if merwin was infected or not?
In literally THE SECOND SCENE of Olson, Alex randomly disappears and then comes in the next scene, is this an issue with my computer or is everyone else seeing this?
Since Belial is implied to be some kind of supernatural entity much like the Curator and might even have a similar role to him in her spinoff game, I think it makes a lot of sense if they may be connected in some way.
Having Belial and the Curator be married just makes sense.
Hello. I haven't checked the other Dark Pictures games, however for Little Hope it seems the "chapters" on the wiki aren't synced up with how the scene select is in the actual game. For example, the "No Escape" chapter is falsely cut up into Reunion. I play on Xbox so maybe it's different, however if I scene select to "Reunion", it is not the same as the content covered on the "Reunion" wiki page. I hope I explained it well. I don't exactly know how to fix the content or possibly the Xbox experience of the game is flawed or different somehow.
Thanks.
